He is a creative and spirited personality from Dallas, Texas, who uses his gift in business and entertainment. He attended Southern University and A& M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he initially studied Biology and Music Performance. With entertainment being a big part of his life, in 2004, he began pursuing a career in entertainment professionally.
Gabriel started as a model with notable work, posing for Dobbs & Krave Magazine, runway shows for Coogi, photoshoots for Ed Hardie, and collaborating with great stylists such as Rick Davy (NY) and Tracy Kennedy (LA). Under the alias Gabriel D. Angell, he’s performed on trumpet with Tito “TJ” Jackson, Jr., Rickey Smiley, Erykah Badu, Tichina Arnold, and Groove University Live Band. Gabriel has performed on drums with Mark Hildreth, J-Pop Artist Takao, NY77 L.A. Funk Band, and others. As an actor, Gabriel has starred and featured in several films, including Spades-4 Of A Kind, Black Angels, Searching the Movie, He Heard My Cry, Mouthpiece, Sex & Violence, and Walter. He also has made television appearances on shows such as Blood Relatives, Friday Night Lights, the Original Season of BET’s College Hill at Southern University, and the hit German Detective TV Series Carsten Stahl-PrivatDetektiv.
Gabriel is also a serial entrepreneur, starting with his sports fitness and in-home personal training service in 2005 and musician management in 2006. As a foundation for his entrepreneurial spirit, he worked to develop trade-in credit development and finance. This trade opened the door to contract and consulting work. Gabriel quickly diversified his non-traditional financial education by collaborating with companies such as Debt Relief America and Westlake Financial Services, and consulting with New Sky Funding and Out of Box Business Funding & Development. Gabriel then advanced to his current role as a partner at Alpha Group Innovations & Management Business Consulting, working with small businesses on strategic management and business relationships.
Gabriel ultimately wants to be an asset to the communities that have helped groom him over the years. He wants to continue to grow his involvement in uplifting those in need with his nonprofit company, Village Inspiration Project (V. I. P.). Gabriel looks forward to building on the work he’s done and using his connections and resources to break down barriers holding aspiring youth from achieving success.
